The 5th International Congress of Interventional Pain Management and the the 14th Congress of Iranian Pain Society

The 5th International Congress of Interventional Pain Management and the 14th Congress of Iranian Pain Society (I.P.S) was held on 4-5 January 2024 in Tehran at the Homa Hotel Conference Hall, by the Iranian Pain Research and Study Association.

To hold the congress, the most well-known pain specialists from Iran and all around the world have been invited for the purpose of standardization and progress in the field of pain management to improve patients care.

According to the predictions, it is expected that the number of patients with chronic pain and cancer would be doubled by 2030 and the elderly population will live longer; Of course the specialized and focused care is more necessary than ever and continuous and adequate care should be provided.

By holding international seminars, it is possible to contribute a lot to the development and updating of information and skills in the field of pain management and to create a good future for this specialty and better care for the patients.
