• 70% of the country's demand for inter-articular injectable gels is produced in Payam Special Economic Zone.

According to the Managing Director of Special Economic Zone and Payam International Airport: “70% of the country's demand for inter-articular injection gels which used to be imported is now produced and supplied by a pharmaceutical company in this region.”

Based on the public relations report of Special Economic Zone and Payam International Airport, Akbar Ghanbarpour added: “This knowledge-based unit with domestic specialists and using local capacities has succeeded to fulfill the 70% of the country's demand in this section as the only producer of high-viscosity Hyaluronic acid-based injectable gels.”

He mentioned: With the productions carried out by this company, the import of this product has been reduced significantly and an average of 10 million dollars have been prevented from leaving the country each year.
